The Birnbaum monument is a beautiful custom gravestone design with a detailed tree carving. The granite color varies between a blue and charcoal veining mixed with a rust and mahogany veining.  

Birnbaum translates to pear tree in German.  Note the carved, single falling leaf symbolic of Dr. Birnbaum, a pediatric cardiologist.
