Designed for the McSparrin family for their young son, the boulder was given an unpolished surface so the family could visit and draw on the monument with sidewalk chalk.  

This monument gave monument builder, Paul West, the encouragement to leave the cemetery conglomerate, in which his career, as a memorialist, began.  This single gravestone design has been discussed at monument design classes, with the training of every new employee at West Memorials and with countless families looking for that special design.  We would be honored to tell you the importance this memorial gives to us.
